August 2022 was quite the month for art. This month, artists dared to ask the question "What if a hoodie was like a onesie?" The answer is it would be weird. Thankfully, non-onesie hoodies remain a winning fashion choice.
It was a good month for supporting characters this month, with strong showings from Evangeline, Virginia, Mr. E, Asher, and Ashley. Even the mysterious hero City Hawk appears. What's his deal? There's also more fanart of Stuart Gipp's Merry Hell, with Jess giving Merry the business. Lastly, there was some fun experimenting with hand gestures for the some of the many gods of Dimestore Novel. Are they canon? Probably not!

This month's featured image is Aless, from friend of the site DarthHaze. I'd link to him, but the only place he's really active is Twitter, yuck. Also appearing are Juniper, a character of friend Allison, and Nick Wright's Rose.
Among these shining stars you will also find Natasha, and Evangeline, and rare sightings of Ronny as well as Ashley and Asher's father Bruno J. Owen. THIS Bruno is one we talk about (not really, this is the only time I've ever drawn him.)

March 2022! Turning Red came out! I briefly explored an slightly different way of drawing Natasha's hair! Mr. Encyclopedia came out against education! There was a brief art fad for drawing a character in a skimpy Legend of Zelda outfit. It was a weird time. Thankfully it's over now and we can move on to more important things like... April 2022.

January of 2022. What happened? I made art, I posted it to Twitter, I colored stuff, I daydreamed about making a comic about my characters. One thing we can know for sure, I made art this month, and here it is. There's a bunch of Natashas as always, a Virginia, a few Evangelines, even friend of the site JSSTaedler's Jillian makes an appearance. In all, I think we can call this a successful month. Now, onward to February!
